I am a researcher in Materials Science and Condensed Matter Physics with long time experience in the study of the chemical-physical-structural properties of materials that hold potential
in the domain of energy storage and conversion. My research interests span a diverse range, including electrode materials in Na/Li/K-ion batteries, catalysts, materials for nuclear-fusion shielding (/i.e/.,high-entropy ceramics), heat storage (polyaromatic molecules), hydrogen storage (/i.e./, fullerides and metal hydrides), and hybrid perovskites for photovoltaics. My activities also involve the characterization of materials of interest for cultural heritage and the development of techniques and instrumentation for neutron and X-ray scattering.
