The rapiflex™ MALDI Tissuetyper™ is specifically designed for mass spectrometry imaging with a spatial resolution of 10 µm – 20 µm, to obtain information at the single cell level, and with a speed 10 times better than other commercial mass spectrometer-imaging tools. This system offers high accuracy, high sensitivity mass spectrometry, delivering resolution above 40,000 resolving power.

The Orbitrap Fusion Tribrid mass spectrometer enables ultra high-resolution analysis of molecules, supramolecular complexes for proteomics and other omics fields. This instrument supports multiple fragmentation and their combinations. Coupled with a nano flow UHPLC EASY nLC 1000, it provides automated, high performance LC/MS for the analysis of complex biological samples.

The Multi Function Tribometer 5000 testing platform represents a strategic asset for advanced materials development, providing an integrated, multifunction testing environment oriented towards tribological characterization. This instrument enables multiscale evaluation of friction, wear, adhesion and tribocorrosion on coatings and bulk materials.

Microplastics are considered emerging contaminants/pollutants (CEC), and they are present in different environmental compartments. Besides, plastic additives and non-plastic fibers (natural and artificial fibers) are also Contaminants of Emerging Concerns. Therefore, this microscope micro Fourier Transform Infrared and RAPT IR is fundamental to identify each particle unambiguously.

MONeutron is a ground level neutron monitor used to study cosmic rays and solar energetic particles. This facility is able to measures primary and secondary neutron fluxes in real time for space weather and radiation modeling studies. This monitor is used for research on extreme solar events and their effects on humans, electronics and radiation environments.

The multipurpose X-ray diffractometer is equipped with a 240 µm radius theta-theta collects wide-angle (WAXS) and small-angle diffraction data on bulk materials, powders, thin films and epitaxial layers in reflection. This instrument provides information on crystal structure, microstructure and film thickness, texture and residual stress.

The Bruker Avance III 600 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectrometer is equipped with three that enable high resolution analysis: this system is suitable for the analysis of liquid, solid and heterogeneous samples. The versatile configuration specially supports a wide range of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance applications and it provides detailed structural and dynamic information across a lot of different materials.

The PET/CT is a hybrid medical imaging system, combining positron emission tomography (PET) with high resolution computed tomography (CT). This system is equipped with silicon photomultipliers, a digital technology that offers significant advantages in terms of sensitivity, time resolution and precision in localizing lesions. The instrument minimizes the required dose of radiopharmaceuticals.

The Microscope inVia Qontor model offers Raman imaging with 532 nm and 785 nm excitation lasers. This microscope features a motorized XYZ stage and a flexible arm, enabling precise sample positioning and high quality spectroscopic mapping. The microscope is equipped with the LiveTrackTM and it supports advanced Raman imaging techniques for detailed chemical and structural analysis.

RETINA enables nondestructive analysis of medium sized samples using X ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy and 2D or 3D Xray imaging. The radiation source is a high-power X-ray tube emitting X-ray with a maximum energy from 40 keV to 150 keV and the system provides detailed chemical and structural information while preserving the integrity of the material of the planar, medium-sized samples.
